EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANT AND CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL COACH

en avant
Coaching supports current principles of effective professional development in that it is job-embedded, context specific and results driven. A Manchester Inc. study (2004) study shows that "coaching delivered an average return of 5.7 times the initial investment…through improvements in productivity, quality, executive/administrator turnover and relationships."

What is Coaching?

Coaching is an investment in people who want to grow and develop.

As coach, I must be competent in the skills that allow the client and me to:

> facilitate action, learning and results

> build a collaborative relationship

> communicate powerfully

My effectiveness as coach is dependent upon my ability to meet people where they are at and help to structure learning experiences that will call on their strengths and access responsibility, action and commitment.

If the idea of establishing a partnership that is dedicated to you moving powerfully forward whilst maximizing your engagement intrigues you, coaching is worth considering.

The coaching process facilitates desired change through a co-created process and relationship of ongoing support and challenge. The skills and principles of coaching are focused on supporting an individual/group over time as they move from where they are, to where they want to be. It is a frame for building individual and team learning capacity, developing competency and self awareness.
